The Neonatal Trust (Otago) Charity Auction & Ball a great success!

On Saturday 24 July the Neonatal Trust (Otago) hosted a mid Winter Charity  Auction & Ball at the Savoy in Dunedin – the inaugural fund raising effort for this recently formed Trust.
Over 130 guests, young and old, turned out in their best attire to enjoy themselves while raising funds for the Trust. Local businesses and the Trust’s patrons, Sir Richard Taylor & Lady Tania Rodger had donated a number of items to be auctioned. Local Auctioneer Lachie McLachlan had guests digging deep in their pockets to secure a number of highly desirable items including limited edition King Kong and V Rex bookends!

The evening was adjudged a great success by all and the Trust is indebted to a number of people and organisations for their generosity which made the function not only affordable for guests but also allowed in excess of $ 8,000 to be raised which will help fund the work of the trust in the Otago /Southland area.
